UWG rated one of America's best values

March 28, 2006

CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia’s rating as one of America’s best values in 2006 was released in the 2007 edition of the Princeton Review’s America’s Best Value Colleges.

The recognition is the second acknowledgement of UWG by the Princeton Review for the 2006 - 2007 academic year. The publication also named the university as a Best Southeastern College.

UWG’s tuition, financial aid awards and levels of satisfaction reported by undergraduates were a few of the factors that made UWG stand out.

The 2007 edition features an extensive profile of UWG with information on admission standards, scholarships, fun campus trivia and where some of the graduates of UWG are today.

UWG is one of only 150 schools in the southeast to make the list and will be considered for the Top Ten Best Colleges list published by Princeton Review. That list is compiled from data collected from students by the publication throughout the academic year. America’s Best Value Colleges: 2007 Edition is published by Random House/Princeton Review and is available in paperback. Go to www.princetonreview.com for more information.
