Marketing class project helps local business April 30, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - Graduating marketing students at the University of West Georgia have been working away on their final class project. The entire class came together to create a marketing plan for the Southeastern Guide Dogs, which is located in Villa Rica. This organization raises and trains guide dogs which are then provided free of charge to the blind.
The UWG students came up with a wide range of marketing tools and examples that Julie Aichroth, Georgia regional supervisor of Southeastern Guide Dogs, could implement. Aichroth, who was on hand for the presentation, not only received a booklet filled with that information but also a shirt and bag. Both items showcased a new logo “Discover a new walk of life” and a print ad designed by the students. After listening to the presentation, Aichroth thanked the UWG students by saying that they did a marvelous job and how impressed she was with the marketing plan. For
