Harris presents senior recital April 25, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - Kelly Shelton Harris of Woodland, Ala., a student at the University of West Georgia, will perform her senior piano recital on Saturday, April 26, at 6 p.m. in the Kathy Cashen Recital Hall of the Humanities Building on the University campus. Harris, who studies piano with George Mann, professor of music, is working to complete her Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree. She will play works by Bach, Schubert, Haydn, Debussy and Kabalevsky. Harris received a rating of Outstanding Performer at the 2003 Georgia Music Teachers Association In-State Auditions, Middle-College Division. She has also won the Music Faculty Award for highest grade-point average in the UWG Department of Music. Harris is the daughter of Wendell and Rita Shelton of Boaz, Ala., and is married to Michael Harris. Her recital is free, and the public is cordially invited to attend.
