UWG honors retirees

CARROLLTON,
GA - Retiring faculty members at the University of West Georgia were recently
honored at a tea preceeding the spring faculty meeting. Among those retiring
are:

Dr. Glenn Novak, professor in the Department of Mass Communications &Theatre
Arts, 19 years; Dr. Richard Fryman, professor in the Department of Economics,
17 years; Dr. Jeanette Bernhardt, professor in the Department of Nursing,
28 years; and David Parkman, vice president of University Advancement,
39 years. Other retirees (not pictured) include Dr. Clete Bulach, associate
professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Professional
Studies, 10 years; Dr. Pierrette Frickey, associate professor in the Department
of Foreign Languages, 18 years; Dr. Lee-jan Jan, professor in the Department
of Sociology/Anthropology/Criminology, 26 years; Dr. Jack Johnson, dean
and professor in the Richards College of Business, 14 years; Dr. Nancy
Mims, professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Professional
Studies, 13 years.
