University club to hold spring social

CARROLLTON, GA - The University Club at the University of West Georgia will host its first Spring Social on Friday, April 18, for all current and former faculty and staff, their spouses and significant others.
The event, which will feature a social, dinner and entertainment by a local band and D.J., will be held in the lower level of the Food Service Building. The social will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
The University Club was formed in the fall of 2002 as a social club for all faculty, staff and retirees of UWG. The club is hosting the Spring Social as a way of ending its first year in a special way.
Tickets for the event cost $15 and can be purchased through the Intramural Office in the Old Auditorium or by contacting a University Club committee member. Guests may bring their own beer or wine. Dress will be business casual.
