Beta Gamma Sigma welcomes new members April 10, 2004 CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, national business honorary society, recently held its 20th annual initiation ceremony. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest academic honor that the Richards College of Business can bestow. The requirement for membership is to be a business major ranking in the top seven percent of juniors, 10 percent of seniors and 20 percent of graduate students by overall grade point average (GPA). Beta Gamma Sigma, founded in 1913, is the only national scholastic honor society in the field of business administration recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
