Red Cross Blood Drive April 1, 2005 CARROLLTON, GA - The Department of Student Activities at the University of West Georgia is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, April 7, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the University Community Center. Anyone 17 years of age or older and weighing 110 pounds or more is encouraged to donate. “We again have the opportunity to make a vital difference in saving someone’s life. The Red Cross needs 1,200 or more pints each weekday to meet the needs of patients in our country,” said Lanie Yettaw, staff assistant for student activities.
