Geoscience club celebrates Earth Day

May 13, 2003

CARROLLTON, GA - In celebration of Earth Day, Geoscience Club members at the University of West Georgia joined faculty members Dr. Andrew Ivester (l) and Dr. Tim Chowns (second from left) in planting a group of Leyland Cypress around the new green space being developed on the west side of campus. Clubs members enjoyed a cookout on campus following their labors.
