WHAT: The Michael Vick Experience Media Day
WHEN: June 21, 2006 at 2 p.m.
WHERE: The University of West Georgia, Carrollton, GA
Broadcasters, reporters and photographers will have the opportunity to interview, film and photograph Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and 10 other Falcons team mates on the UWG campus.
Media Day coincides with the third annual Michael Vick Experience, which is a football camp for children. Several hours have been allotted for the media. Last year, the event continued until 8 p.m.
The third annual Michael Vick Experience camp begins on Sunday, June 18, and continues through Thursday, June 22. Vick, along with other NFL players and a coaching staff, will interact with camp participants ages 8-16. Campers will be grouped by age, size and experience, and will be treated to a lifeskills and football learning experience, residence hall living and three meals a day.
Media Day will take place on three athletic fields adjacent to the Food Services Building (Z-6) on the UWG campus.
