Yokogawa gift to UWG

CARROLLTON,
GA - The Yokogawa Corporation of America, headquartered in Newnan, made
a recent gift-in-kind to the University of West Georgia Foundation, Inc.
for use by the College of Arts and Sciences. Jeff Rainey (r), product
specialist – TMI Division, and Bill Gatheridge, product manager
– Test & Measurement Division, were instrumental in Yokogawa’s
generous donation valued at more than $12,000. The donation included a
digital power analyzer, a portable oscillographic recorder, and a powerpoint
presentation and workbook on Power Measurement and Analysis. UWG Honors
students have already used the oscillographic recorder in a project chosen
to be tested by NASA in its Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities
Program.
