Microsoft Publisher™ course offered August 1, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - Want to impress your boss with your next presentation, add pizzazz to the office newsletter or advertise your business with new letterhead or a brochure? With just a little instruction, available in an upcoming University of West Georgia continuing education class, even the most inexperienced computer user can gain professional design results using Microsoft Publisher. Included with the Microsoft Office 2000 package, the Publisher desktop publishing program provides wizards that walk you through preparing all the elements needed to create a publication ready for print, such as fonts, text layout and image placement. The class will be offered on Friday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University’s Newnan Center in Newnan. The cost is $95. To get the most out of the session, participants should be comfortable with basic computer skills. Publisher can be used to bring new life to any document, including brochures, posters, newsletters, fliers, postcards and signs.
