A DAY steering committee

CARROLLTON,
GA - The 2003 A DAY Steering Committee attended the University of West
Georgia’s Leadership Kick-Off for the 21st annual fund raising campaign.
Over 50 volunteers attended representing organizations such as the Braves
Booster Club, the Alumni Association, and the West Georgia Foundation.
Leading the volunteer effort for this year are: (front, l-r) Lisa Ledbetter,
chair of faculty/staff drive; Linda Picklesimer, chair of WGNB Run for
A DAY; Susan Fleck, vice chair/advance solicitation; and Chester Gibson,
chair of retired faculty/staff drive; (back, l-r) Phil Kauffman, West
Georgia Foundation Chairman; Dr. Beheruz Sethna, UWG President; Mary Parkman,
chair of volunteer solicitation; Mary Sarner, co-chair of Villa Rica drive;
Gerald Pilgrim, A DAY Chair. “Town and Gown Tradition” is
this year’s theme for A DAY, which is scheduled for Thursday, Oct.
