Dan Cathy receives honorary doctorate

CARROLLTON,
GA - Chick-fil-A, Inc. President and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy
(c) became an honorary graduate of the University of West Georgia
prior to delivering the commencement address during the summer ceremony.
Cathy became the eighth recipient of the University’s honorary doctorate
when he received the hood from Dr. Beheruz N. Sethna (l), UWG president,
and Dr. Thomas Hynes, vice president for academic affairs. More than 480
students received undergraduate and graduate degrees in the arts and sciences,
business and education.
