A DAY Leadership Kick-off
August 24, 2004
CARROLLTON,
GA - Members of the 2004 A DAY for West Georgia Steering Committee were
among many outstanding volunteers who attended the 22nd annual Leadership
Kick-Off, Aug. 19, for the University of West Georgia. This event
is the first of many fun activities planned for participants in the annual
fundraising campaign. Steering Committee members in attendance were: (seated,
l-r) Linda Picklesimer, WGNB Run for A DAY chair; Dr. Kathryn Grams, Faculty
and Staff Drive chair; Susan Fleck, 2004 A DAY chair; Fred O’Neal,
A DAY vice chair and Advance Solicitation chair; and (standing, l-r) Megan
Sullivan, Special Events chair; Mary Parkman, Volunteer Solicitation chair;
and Eddie Cole, West Georgia Foundation chair. Not pictured is Dr. Mel
Steely, Retired Faculty and Staff chair. “Aspire, Accomplish, Astonish”
is this year’s A DAY theme, which is scheduled for Oct. 21.
