Students can "Meet the Administration"

CARROLLTON, GA - The Student Government Association (SGA) at the University of West Georgia will host its annual “Meet the Administration” event on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Bonner Lecture Hall.

“This event gives students the opportunity to address their concerns to a panel of University administrators and key departmental figures,” says Paul Whatley, president of SGA. “All students are encouraged to attend and ask questions.”

The panel will consist of UWG President Beheruz Sethna, Director of Student Activities Linda Picklesimer, Director of Public Safety Tom Mackel, and other administrators. Also sitting on the panel will be Carrollton Mayor Gerald Pilgrim.

Although SGA will have a few questions to get the evening started, students will be responsible for bringing their concerns to the attention of the panel. Students may address the entire panel or a specific administrator.

According to Whatley, SGA is planning to have another “Meet the Administration” event in the spring.
