SunTrust Bank meets with Foundation

CARROLLTON,
GA - The Executive Committee and the Major Gifts Committee of the West
Georgia Foundation, Inc. met recently with representatives from SunTrust
Bank to discuss the preliminary financing details as the Foundation prepares
to close on the Brookwood acquisition later this month. Eddie Cole (r),
chairman of the West Georgia Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustees, met with
(l-r) Jon C. Long, executive vice president (SunTrust, Chattanooga); Cheryl
F. Gaines, group vice president (SunTrust, Northwest Georgia); and Margaret
L. Callihan, chairman, president & CEO (SunTrust Bank, Chattanooga).
An agreement has been reached for the West Georgia Foundation, Inc. to
purchase the Brookwood apartment complex from the Carrollton Housing Authority
(CHA) for use by the University of West Georgia.
