Tanner's Gift to UWG

CARROLLTON,
GA - Tanner Medical Center made a three-year commitment to the Nursing
Department at the University of West Georgia to share a Nursing
Resource Center 
Coordinator
and Loy Howard (r), Tanner’s president/CEO, presented the third
donation of $65,000 to Dr. Beheruz Sethna, UWG president, and Dr. Kathryn
Grams, nursing department chair. The coordinator works with both the University
and the health system to enhance the expertise of staff nurses and develop
the practice knowledge and skills of nursing students. An integral part
of this collaboration is Linda Conner, Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton
In-Patient Director of Nursing (not pictured). As the chief nurse, she
provides direction for the activities of the Nursing Resource Center Coordinator
during the summer months when this person works for Tanner.
