Princeton Review recognizes UWG a second timeSeptember 26, 2005 CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia is one of America’s best values in 2006, according to the Princeton Review’s America’s Best Value Colleges. The recognition is the second acknowledgement of the university by the Princeton Review this year. The publication also named UWG in its Best Southeastern College edition for 2006. UWG President Beheruz N. Sethna said it was an honor to be chosen by such a prestigious academic publication. “I am very pleased and certainly agree,” said Sethna. “Educational Excellence in a Personal Environment is not just a slogan, it’s a way of life.” UWG’s tuition, financial aid awards and levels of satisfaction reported by undergraduates were a few of the factors that made UWG stand out. The guidebook will feature an extensive profile of UWG with information on admission standards, scholarships, fun campus trivia and where some of the graduates of UWG are today. UWG is one of only 140 schools in the southeast to make the list and will be considered for the Top Ten Best Colleges list published by Princeton Review. That list is compiled from data collected from students by the publication throughout the academic year. Go to www.princetonreview.com for more information. -30- |
