A DAY Steering Committee

CARROLLTON,
GA - “Investing in Lives” is the theme for the 2005 A DAY
fundraising campaign at the University of West Georgia. With that in mind,
the campaign steering committee is off to a wonderful start by investing
their time at the recent 23rd annual Leadership Kick Off. This event is
the first of many fun activities planned to encourage A DAY participation.
This year’s A DAY steering committee is made up of some of Carrollton’s
most outstanding volunteers including: (l-r) Linda Picklesimer, WGNB Run
for A DAY chair; Fred O’Neal, chair of A DAY; Rocky Lipham, co-chair
of A DAY; Mary Parkman, chair of Volunteer Solicitations; and Susan Fleck,
chair of Special Events. Not pictured are the co-chairs of the Faculty/
Staff Drive, Dr. Timothy Chowns and Audrey Baird. This year’s A
DAY drive will take place on Thursday, Oct. 20. To volunteer, contact
