CARROLLTON,
GA — The University of West Georgia celebrated another record
breaking A DAY for West Georgia! A total of $2,820,614 was raised throughout
the fund drive campaign and loyal volunteers celebrated their efforts
at the Victory Celebration at the home of Tom and Brenda Fitzgerald. Announcing
the total were (l-r) Andri Pilgrim; Gerald Pilgrim, A DAY chair; their
son John Martin Pilgrim; Mary Jane Goodson, associate director of development;
Dr. Beheruz N. Sethna, UWG president; Susan Fleck, A DAY vice chair; and
Scott Huffman, interim vice president for University advancement. An additional
$499,374 has been pledged for the 2004 campaign which will be led by Fleck.
