Greek Video Night October 23, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - The annual Social Greek Video Night at the University of West Georgia will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 8 p.m., in the Health/Physical Education Gymnasium. The National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils sponsor the event, in which groups of social Greeks compete with each other in performing dances, skits and lip syncs. Each group’s performance is based on a theme which can range from Broadway to popular culture. Elaborate costumes and props are used to make the show more exciting and entertaining, and first place prizes will be awarded for the best fraternity and sorority performances. According to Heather Mack, associate director of student activities, the purpose of the event is to provide entertainment for the campus community. Any social Greek group can participate in the event. The cost for attending is $2. For more information, contact the Department of Student Activities at 770-836-6526. -30- Use
