Line Dancing October 4, 2004 CARROLLTON, GA - It gets rave reviews; it’s good low-impact exercise and it’s a great way to get the family out for the evening. If line dancing comes to mind when you read this, you are right on the money. The University of West Georgia Department of Continuing Education is offering a “Line Dancing” course this semester that offers participants of any age a chance to learn the basic moves of this popular dance format. Participants will learn a new dance each week for five weeks. To ensure that the dances are up to date, the instructor hits the dance clubs a few weeks before the class begins to check out what is currently popular. “Line Dancing” will be held on five consecutive Thursdays, Oct. 14 to Nov. 11, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center. The cost will be $29. For more information or to register, call the Department of Continuing Education at 678-839-6611 or visit its web site at www.uwgce.com. -30- |
