Economic Forecast Breakfast October 11, 2004 CARROLLTON, GA - Business leaders will meet at the University of West Georgia’s Economic Forecast Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 a.m. Featured speaker, Milton Ezrati, a widely published Economic Strategist, will discuss the outlook for the national economy.
Ezrati, Senior Economic Strategist at Lord Abbett, has been published in a number of newspapers including The Financial Times, The Asian Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. He has made frequent appearances on financial television including CNBC, Bloomberg and CNNfn. Ezrati received his Masters in Social Science in Mathematical Economics from the Birmingham University in England, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the State University of New York. Raper has conducted considerable research and made a number of presentations on the west Georgia economy himself. With a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University, he will address issues pertaining to the local economy. The conference, which is sponsored by the UWG Department of Economics, Richard’s College of Business, and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, will be held in the Food Service Building (Z-6). Businessmen and women in all types of businesses in the west Georgia region, educators, government officials, and the public are encouraged to attend this event. Attendance is by reservation only, and seating is limited. Reservations are $25 per person or $175 for a table of 8.
