2004 Homecoming Pageant October 11, 2004 CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia’s Homecoming Pageant will take place in the Townsend Center on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. The pageant is designed to introduce, interview, judge and select the winners for the King and Queen representatives. The final winners will be announced at the Homecoming game against Henderson State on Oct. 23. Magician and comedian Mike Super will be the performing guest and master of ceremonies. The homecoming candidates will introduce themselves, the organization they are representing, their major, etc. The judges will announce the homecoming court at the end of the show. The court will consist of five male and five female students from UWG. The judges will base their decisions on interviews, essays previously written by the candidates, community and school involvement, and appearance. There is no admission fee for the pageant.
