Kim Coles to host Step Show Saturday nightOctober 5, 2005 CARROLLTON, GA - Actress and comedian Kim Coles is coming to the University of West Georgia to host the Black Student Alliance’s “Step Up or Go Home” Homecoming step show on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the HPE Building at 8 p.m. From her role as the unforgettable Synclaire James on “Living Single” to being on the show “Celebrity Fit Club,” Coles is known for her warm spirit and bubbly humor. The actress and comedian has appeared on “The Parkers,” “MAD TV,” “Martin,” “One on One,” “Last Comic Standing,” “In Living Color,” as well as many other television shows and movies. Coles has been nominated for three NAACP Image Awards as Best Actress in a Comedy for her work on “Living Single” and was also nominated as Best Supporting Actress in 2000 for a guest appearance on “Frasier.” “With Kim Coles as our host, ‘Step Up or Go Home’ is going to be the biggest event to hit the University of West Georgia and the whole state of Georgia!” said Sarah Dubale, public relations chair of the BSA. “Believe me, you don’t want to miss it!” Tickets are available in advance in front of the UCC, in the BSA office, or in the Student Activities Office (UCC 200) for $8 for members of Greek organizations and $10 for other students. -30- |
