A DAY benefits to students

CARROLLTON,
GA - University of West Georgia scholarship recipient Logan Leslie expressed
his thanks to the volunteers and donors of the A DAY for West Georgia
campaign when he spoke at A Night for A DAY. As salutatorian of his Carrollton
High School class, Leslie had offers from numerous universities such as
Emory and Wake Forest. He stated that he chose UWG because he felt he
would experience academic opportunities as an undergraduate at West Georgia
that he would only experience as an upperclassman or graduate student
elsewhere. His academic endeavors have earned him the prestigious Goldwater
Scholarship. Also recognized at A Night for A DAY was West Georgia National
Bank for their sponsorship of the Run for A DAY and AirTran Airways for
their sponsorship of the faculty/staff drive. For more information about
