Coffee House November 17, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - As fall classes come to a close for the Christmas holidays, the University of West Georgia will hold its annual Coffee House for all students, faculty and staff on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts’ Black Box. UWG Theatre Company sponsors the Coffee House, in which students provide entertainment by reading poetry, singing or performing. Any student who wishes to participate needs only to show up at the event and sign up for a slot. Snacks and beverages such as coffee, tea and hot cocoa will be served. “The Theatre Company sponsors the Coffee House each year so that everyone on campus can have an evening when they can let off some steam at the end of the semester,” says Shelly Elman, director of the Theatre Company. Admission to the event is free. For more information, contact the Theatre Department at 770-836-4792. -30- Click
