Junior Recitals
November 5, 2004
CARROLLTON, GA - University of West Georgia music students Valerie Beck and Jennifer Andall, will perform a joint junior recital on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m. in the Humanities building.
The two vocal, performance majors, both mezzo-sopranos, are students of Dr. Larry Frazier, and will be accompanied by pianist Sharon Connoly-McCoy.
Beck, daughter of Lynn and Allen Beck of Cordele, will sing works by Purcell, Lotti, Paisiello, Gounod, Faure, Paladihle, Brahms, Wolf and end on a light note with “Four Folk Song Upsettings” by P.D.Q Bach.
Andall, daughter of Jude and Yvonne Andall of Lawrenceville, will sing works by Gluck, Mozart, Brahms, Faure, Barber, Bizet, and end her portion of the program with traditional spirituals arranged by H.T. Burleigh.
