UWG student nurses awarded

CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia Student Nurses Association, a chapter of the Georgia Association of Nursing Students, recently competed against other student nursing organizations across the state at the GANS state convention in Callaway Gardens.
UWG students received several awards including: Honorable Mention for Financial Excellence, Best Chapter at being able to break through to nursing, Chapter of the Year and Winners of the National Council Licensing Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) Jeopardy competition.
Amy Goodwin, assistant professor of nursing at UWG, is very pleased with these nursing students.
“I am very proud of our students, as they deserve these awards for all their hard work,” she said.
