UWG Variety Show

CARROLLTON, GA - Who will be the next West Georgia Idol? Who has what it takes to be named the last West Georgian Standing? Who is worthy of the title West Georgia Superstar? Find out Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the first inaugural University of West Georgia Variety Show, beginning at 8 p.m. in the Bonner Lecture Hall.
In the style of classic variety shows like “Sonny and Cher,” UWG is providing students with a unique opportunity to strut their stuff. Sponsored by the Student Activities Council (SAC) and the Student Government Association, the show will feature the best student talent UWG has to offer, including singing, dancing and, yes, even comedy.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 7 to 10 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 4, from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Bonner Lecture Hall. Those interested in performing should pick up an application in the Student Activities office, located in the University Community Center (UCC), Room 200.
