Lecture on flight December 12, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' historic flight, a presentation of “Wright Flight: 100 years of Powered Aviation” will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 7 – 8 p.m. in the Math-Physics (Marion Crider) Lecture Hall at the University of West Georgia. Scale models, videos, demonstrations and a simulated flight on the Wright Flyer and the B-17 Memphis Belle will be presented. According to Dr. Ben deMayo, UWG professor emeritus of physics, the program is suitable for ages 9 and above.
