Faculty Art Show a success

CARROLLTON, GA - Faculty members of the University of West Georgia Department of Art ended fall semester with a successful faculty art exhibit at the Atlanta Gallery Project in the Castleberry Hill Art District.
It is the second exhibit held by the UWG art department at the Atlanta Gallery Project, which is sponsored by the UWG Development and Alumni Relations Office. The first exhibit, “Inside the Perimeter,” showed student works of art in October at Castleberry Hill.
The most recent exhibit, “On the Map” featured several dozen sculptures, photographs, illustrations, paintings and mixed media works of art by Dr. Deborah Santini, interim chair and associate professor, Dr. Eilis Crean, assistant professor, Dr. Cameron Covert, professor, Dr. Perry Kirk, associate professor, Dr. Kevin Shunn, associate professor, Dr. Clint Samples, assistant professor, Dr. Ozzie Binion, associate professor, Dr. Sangwon Sohn, assistant professor, Dr. Rita Tekippe, assistant professor, Dr. Angela Turberville, temporary assistant professor, and temporary instructors Stephanie Smith, William Dennisuk and Sam Dowd.
