Following is my response to the actions of the Faculty Senate as represented in the minutes of the meeting of November 20, 1998, which were approved at the Faculty Senate meeting on February 26, 1999.

Committee Report:

Item a)    Undergraduate Academic Programs

Motions to accept the following program proposals were passed: Actuarial Science Track in the MATH B.S. program and B.A. program in Global Studies.
I accept the motions.
Item b)    Academic Policies and Procedures
    1. Motion to approve items concerning, the Technology Policy, which are listed in the Minutes, was passed.
      I accept the above motion.
    1. Motions to approve changes (which are listed in the Minutes) in the Repeat Policy and the Final Examinations Policy as stated in the Undergraduate Catalog passed unanimously.
I accept the above motions.
