Career Development Specialist

Biography

Kristi Conner is a Career Development Specialist. Before joining the Career Services team, she was a corporate recruiter for a leading IT company. She graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minored in Mass Communications with a focus on film production. During her time at UWG as a student, she worked for Housing and Residence Life as a Residential Peer Mentor (RPM), and won Peer Mentor of the Year for the academic year of 2011-2012. She is excited to use her experience in the corporate world to assist students in their job searches.

    General Responsibilities

    Kristi is a liaison to the Richards College of Business and the College of Science and Mathematics. She is responsible for presenting and assisting students in areas such as resumes, cover letters, mock interviewing, and job search strategies.
