Assistant Director of Competitive Sports

Biography

I was born in raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management & Recreation from the University of Southern Indiana and then a Masters of Science degree in Recreation & Sports Management from Indiana State University. I found my passion for recreation during my time at the University of Southern Indiana. I have been blessed to have had some amazing mentors during my time as a student staff member at USI and then as a Graduate Assistant of Intramural/Club Sports at Indiana State University that taught me the true meaning of paying it forward and the impact the field of recreation can have on the students who use our facilities and programs. I was drawn to the University of West Georgia because of the Universities commitment to being the best university to Work, Learn, & Succeed. I hope to create a culture that is committed to fostering/developing our 3 core program pillars, which are teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our program is designed to create opportunities for all members of the UWG family and our leagues/events are designed based on the model of #RECFORALL.
