Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life

Biography

Amy Damron is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, now residing in Carrollton, Georgia.  She started at the University of West Georgia in July of 2017 as the Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Amy graduated from Henderson State University, where she was highly involved in student activities, on campus media outlets, and Greek Life.  She was accepted into Quincy University in fall of 2014 to pursue her Masters in Communications.  While working on her masters, she was a graduate assistant for the Office of Student Affairs for Greek Life, student organizations, campus activities board, and leadership programs.  After graduating in 2016, she pursued her first full-time professional job as the Coordinator for Greek Life Programs at Radford University in Radford, Virginia.

She enjoys working with college students and helping them throughout their transition between high school and their career path.  She has had her college experience and now hopes to facilitate an even better one here at the University of West Georgia!
