Biography

Asia Anderson joined University of West Georgia's Career Services in January 2018. She currently serves as the Career Counselor and Liaison for the College of Arts and Humanities and the College of Education. She is a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received her Master of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has counseling experience in the collegiate setting from Savannah College of Art and Design and substance abuse counseling from a local residential facility and local community service board in the Southeast Georgia area. She also received her Bachelor of Science degrees from Georgia Southern in Psychology and Public Relations. While in Statesboro, she spent time giving back to the local community and plans to continue her efforts in the Greater Atlanta area.
