Colton Campbell '20

Born and raised in Carrollton, Ga., Colton Campbell has always been a writer. After graduating with a degree in journalism from Auburn University in 2011, he served for more than five years in print journalism before starting a career in higher education communications. In his current role at the University of West Georgia as Executive Director of Communications, Colton develops and manages a comprehensive communications strategy for the university, while also leading the daily activities of the UCM communications and web services teams. As a professional communicator, Colton strives to ensure that university stakeholders have the information they need when they need it. In his spare time, he enjoys reading through Stephen King's bibliography, playing board games with his wife and taking care of their daughter and two dogs.
