Biography

Michelle Lovvorn is an alum of the University of West Georgia. She received a bachelor of business administration in marketing with a minor in studio art in 2016. Michelle's passion for career development started shortly after graduation which led her back to the University of West Georgia to help students find employment opportunities. In her spare time, Michelle loves riding horses, college football, photography, and traveling with her husband.

    General Responsibilities

    Provides support to the Associate Director of Employer Relations and Experiential Learning and assists employers with effectively connecting with UWG students. Primary duties and responsibilities include: Managing the execution of all recruiting related activities for Career Services; on-campus interviews, company information sessions, career fairs and events. Maintaining databases of new and existing corporate contacts. Working with employers to develop marketing strategies for employer branding. Reviews and approves incoming position descriptions, ascertaining appropriateness for UWG students and alumni. Develops and maintains relationships with employers to locate and develop a spectrum of applied work experiences with a focus on off-campus, full & part-time jobs for students. Oversees the marketing and communication between appropriate campus departments and program participants. Maintains resume book processes, resume referral, and other methods of presenting students and alumni to employers.
