Microsoft Office Proficiency Certificate

Our Microsoft Office Proficiency Certificate will assist you in acquiring new skills and knowledge while helping you differentiate yourself in a fast-paced office environment or competitive job market!
To complete the Microsoft Office 2016 Proficiency Certificate, participants will be required to complete five (5) of the following courses:
Microsoft Excel 2016 Basic (4 or 5 Hours) - Required
Microsoft Excel 2016 Intermediate (4 or 5 Hours) - Required
Microsoft Powerpoint 2016 Intermediate (5 Hours) - Required
Microsoft Word 2016 Intermediate (5 Hours) - Required
Microsoft Publisher 2016 Intermediate (5 Hours) - OR -
Microsoft Excel 2016 Advanced (6 Hours)
At the end of each course, participants will be given an assignment that will assess their understanding and execution of the course’s learning objectives and major competencies. The assignment will be due to Tiffany Powers (email@example.com) five (5) business days after the end of the on-site course. Participants will be notified if they successfully or unsuccessfully completed the assignment with five (5) business days of assignment submission.
We suggest enrolling in an Excel 2016 Basic as the first course of the Microsoft Proficiency Certificate series. This serves are your introduction to Microsoft Office at the Basic level. After successfully completing an Excel 2016 Basic course, you should be prepared to enroll in the other courses at an Intermediate level.
Participants must register and pay for each course individually. Each course registration fee is between $99 - $109; therefore, the cost of completing the certificate program is approximately $505.
Participants must complete all Certificate courses within eighteen (18) consecutive months. Participants may chosen to attend courses at UWG Carrollton, UWG Newnan, or a combination of both.

A minimum of five (5) participants are needed to schedule a Mobile Computer Lab training session. A maximum of fifteen (15) participants can be accomodated if the training space permits. All Mobile Computer Lab courses are taught by UWG faculty, staff, or contracted instructors.

Excel 2016 is the most up-to-date version of the electronic spreadsheet program that can be used for storing, organizing, and manipulating data.
PowerPoint 2016 is a presentation software that uses a graphical approach to presentations in the form of slide shows that accompany the oral delivery of the topic.
Publisher 2016 is a desktop publishing software that emphasizes pages layouts and graphic design.
Word 2016 is a widely used word processing software.

Microsoft 2016 is provided at both UWG Carrollton and UWG Newnan. Custom Microsoft 2013 and 2010 Training can be provided off-site only.
