Devoe's current research focuses on and the implementation of Digital Game-Based Learning (DBGL) environments for advanced undergraduate and graduate applied mathematics courses such as vector analysis, differential equations, linear algebra, and mathematical biology and its effects on student learning. His additional interest combine applied mathematics, neuroscience, biology, and engineering, with a main focus on the dynamics and control of biological and technological networks.
