English and Philosophy
Welcome to the Department of English and Philosophy at the University of West Georgia
Our main office is located on the second floor of the Technology Learning Center (TLC Office 2255) at the intersection of West Georgia and University Drives. Faculty offices are located in the TLC and in Pafford Hall.
Our department offers undergraduate degrees and minors in Literary Studies, Philosophy, Religious Studies, English Education, and Creative Writing. We also support interdisciplinary minor programs in Film Studies, Africana Studies, and American Studies. Our graduate program offers offers a variety of advanced seminars exclusively for graduate students. Research and teaching assistantships are available to qualified graduate students.
