The Department of Computing and Mathematics maintains a comprehensive laboratory environment to support teaching and learning. Our labs and classrooms are equipped with the latest technology and provide a flexible computing environment that provides students an opportunity to learn and experiment with various tools used in industry. The labs also serve to foster community among Computing and Computer Science students as a central space to gather and collaborate on course work and projects.

Technology-enhanced Learning Center (TLC)

All Computing labs and classrooms are located in the TLC building. All currently enrolled UWG students may access the TLC building and its public areas 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when classes are in session.

Mitchell Clifton Computing Center @ TLC

Computer Science and Computing majors who are currently enrolled in face-to-face sections of CS 1302 or higher-level CS courses, and/or COMP 2320 or higher-level COMP courses, also have 24/7 access to the Mitchell Clifton Computing Center when classes are in session. This lab is outfitted with computers, wide screen monitors, wireless projection TVs, and comfortable flex furniture to allow for individual and group study.

The lab is located in room 1117 on the first floor of the TLC building. Access is provided using the student's UWG ID card.
