Background & Purpose

The Richards College of Business at the University of West Georgia is launching a Construction Management Concentration within its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management degree program. This initiative is motivated by strong interest from industry partners and donor support, reflecting a growing demand for construction-focused business education.

The concentration in Construction Management is designed to align with the five core objectives of modern construction projects: Safety, Time, Cost, Quality, and Environmental Responsibility. To achieve these goals, the curriculum includes six courses that integrate technical knowledge with project management, financial analysis, safety practices, and sustainable construction principles.
