Master of Public Administration
The Master of Public Administration at UWG is a professional degree program that relates academic study to administrative practice.
It offers students the opportunity to:
- Augment the skills and knowledge of their current career in public service
- Earn a professional graduate degree that meets the growing need for public administrators to acquire additional skills and knowledge
- Pursue careers in government by providing public administration education
- Open research pathways to study at the doctoral level after graduation

Choose Your Path
In addition to political science coursework (21 hours), three distinct program tracks (12 hours) are available for students to choose the concentration that best fits their career aspirations:
- Elective Track: Choose from courses in any graduate program at the university with approval from the program advisor
- Criminology and Criminal Justice Track: Choose from courses exclusively in criminology
- Social and Community Policy Track: Choose from sociology, criminology, and political science courses
