Karen Dollinger, Ph.D.

Karen Dollinger received a BS in Spanish Education, a BPh in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Master of Arts in Spanish from Miami University in Ohio.  She received her PhD in Spanish (focus:  Latin American Literatures and Cultures) from the Ohio State University.  She has also studied at the Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico.

Her research interests include Latin American speculative fiction (fantasy, science fiction, horror, magical realism) in literature and film.
