Deni Harling graduated in 2014 with degrees in Music Education and Film & Media Arts. She was very active as a leader in a wide range of activities, from choral ensembles to her professional Music fraternity, from Marching Band flags to the WOLF Internet Radio. She held student assistant jobs in both Music and Mass Communications, and was frequently called upon to sing the alma mater for graduation ceremonies, including her own.
Diamond Forde graduated from University of West Georgia in Spring 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Minor in Creative Writing. While a UWG student, Diamond earned full scholarships to both The Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets (the most prestigious national seminar of its kind) at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, and The New York State Summer Writer’s Institute at Skidmore College in upstate New York. Never one to miss out on great opportunities in her own backyard, Diamond also worked two consecutive years on the UWG’s award-winning literary magazine, Eclectic, as both Editor and Managing Editor. She also studied abroad twice in Italy, where she forged lifelong friendships with Italians and learned the art of making tiramisu. Diamond is currently pursuing a graduate degree in poetry at the University of Alabama.
