Description

This course introduces students to the complexities of caring for acutely ill patients across medical-surgical nursing specialties, using Jean Watson s Caring Science theory as a guiding framework to support caring-healing modalities for patient outcomes and nurse well-being.This course is available to HRSA NEP grant trainees and to non-trainee students. Trainees must complete the online and clinical portions (24 hours) of the course for a total of 2 credit hours; non-trainee students can, but are not required to, complete the clinical/lab portion of the course.
