This course explores social determinants of health and health disparities through a framework of Jean Watson s Caring Science theory to promote equity and well-being.This course is available to HRSA NEP grant trainees and to non-trainee students. Trainees must complete the online and clinical portions (32 hours) of the course for a total of 2 credit hours; non-trainee students can, but are not required to, complete the clinical/lab portion of the course.
