The fascinating topic of psychology explores the human mind and behavior. In this course, studentswill learn about the history of psychology and gain a unique understanding of how psychologists have tried to understand human behavior and thought. Over 2 weeks, students will learn aboutresearch methodology, psychoanalysis, behaviorism, social psychology, personality psychology, abnormal psychology, biological psychology, cognitive psychology, and humanistic and transpersonal psychology as illustrated and informed by examples in Portuguese culture, folklore,and ghosts.
